In the SSL Manager a new overview has been added to show you all SSL certificates.
You can also view the status of the completed reissues search here. On this page we will discuss the details of the status overview.
Where can I find this overview?
In the SSL Manager there is a new menu item "Symantec Reissues". Below this is the status overview. This overview lists all the certificates concerned.
Basic information about the respective certificate is displayed.
Information within the overview
The basic information about the respective certificate is displayed.
The Renewal phase in which the certificate is located is displayed.
- Phase 1
Includes all certificates issued before 01.06.2016 and expiring before 13.09.2018.
The start of the Reissues will be carried out by us on 21.11.2017.
- Phase 2
Includes all certificates issued before 01.06.2016 and expiring after 13.09.2018.
The start of the Reissues will be carried out by us on 16.01.2018.
- Phase 3
Includes all certificates issued before 01.12.2017 and expiring after 13.09.2018.
The start of the Reissues will be carried out by us on 20.02.2018.
- Phase 4_D1
Newly revised list including all affected certificates ordered before 01.12.2017.
An automated start does not take place, the Reissues must be started by you.
The Common Name of the certificate is displayed.
The type of certificate is displayed.
The current status of the reissue is displayed.

The reissue has not yet been triggered.
The reissue has been started and is currently being processed.
Reissue was not completed successfully. We have implemented a test routine for this purpose.
The reissue was successfully completed and the new certificate was issued.
The verification type of the certificate is displayed.
- EV - Extended Validation
- OV - Organuzation Validation
- DV - Validation area
The verification type used in the purchase order is displayed.
- Methode: ORG
Gold-plated for all EV and OV certificates.
- Methode: EMAIL
- Methode: DNS
- Methode: File
The validation method used for DV certificates.
The verification type cannot be adjusted. You may need to take action here. If this is the case, you will receive a note in the overview.
To avoid disruptions in the execution of the Reissues, we kindly ask you not to start a manual Reissue for the SSL certificates in your inventory.
We will do this for you.
What else has to be done?
After receiving the new SSL certificate, it only needs to be implemented on the web server. Only then will the process be complete and Google Chrome can rate the new SSL certificate as secure.
