# Auth Object

## Description

The Auth element represents the authentication for a user and must be placed inside of a <request> element.

## Structure

| Keyword XML | Occurs | Type | Format | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| user | 1 | string |  | User name |
| context | 1 | number | int32 | Context of the user |
| password | 1 | string |  | Password of the user |
| token | 0 - 1 | string |  | One Time Token for 2FA. See [Authentication](/en/api/core-authentication/). |
