# Banned files type enum

## Description

Setting for protection against locked file types. Locked files are file types that are known to often contain viruses.  
Mails containing these files are quarantined (PolicyMode = QUARANTINE)

The MailProxy uses the "maiamailguard" software in the background, in which the file types are stored. Here is an example of a .config file. It also contains a list of possible file types.

Here is the list of the predefined file types:

-   Double file extensions with the following extensions in the name:  
    exe | vbs | pif | scr | bat | cmd | com | cpl | dllMIME types: application/x-msdownload,application/x-msdos-program,application/hta,message/partial,message/external-body
-   Simple file extensions  
    ade | adp | app | bas | bat | chm | cmd | com | cpl | crt | exe | fxp | hlp | hta | inf | ins | isp | js | jse | lnk | mda | mdb | mde | mdw | mdt | mdz | msc | msi | msp | mst | ops | pcd | pif | prg | reg | scr | sct | shb | shs | vb | vbe | vbs | wsc | wsf | wsh
-   Winzip files

-   Types: exe-ms, exe | lha | cab | dll
