# Domain zone object

## Description

The DomainZone object is part of the domain object and is used with [Domain Create](/en/api/core-domain-create/) and [DomainTransfer](/en/api/core-domain-transfer/) to create and preconfigure the zone of a domain.  
The [DomainInfo](/en/api/core-domain-info/) task also outputs this object although here the specifications for the name servers may differ from the domain.

## Structure

| Keyword XML | Occurs | Type | Format | Description |

| ip | 1 | string | ipv4/ipv6 | IP address of the domain. Not valid for _DomainInfo_. |
| mx | 0 - n | string |  | MX record of the mail server in the zone. Not valid for _DomainInfo._ |
| ns\_action | 0 - 1 | enum | [NameServerAction](/en/api/core-name-server-action-constants/) | Additional name server check is performed. |
| system\_ns | 0 - 1 | string | hostname | The first name server managed by the system. |
| include\_wildcard | 0 - 1 | boolean |  | Identifier that defines whether a wildcard entry is to be created for the domain<br>• 0 = No wildcard entry is created.<br>• 1 = A  wildcard entry is created.<br>Default value = 0<br>Not valid for _DomainInfo._ |
| www\_include | 0 - 1 | boolean |  | Automatically create "www" resource records.<br>• 0 = No www resource record is generated.<br>• 1 = A www resource record is generated.<br>Default value = 0<br>Not valid for _DomainInfo_. |
| ns\_group | 0 - 1 | string |  | Contains a defined group of name servers (e.g. nodesecure). |
| nserver | 0 - 8 | string | hostname | List of the name servers used. |
