### When is a polling message generated?

A polling message is generated for all non-synchronous requests, as well as requests generated by the system itself.

### For which steps of the order are push notifications sent?

Push notifications are sent for asynchronous registry notifications such as DomainTransfer, DomainCreate, DomainUpdate or DomainAway.

### Are push notifications sent in the demo system?

Yes. Push notifications are also sent in the demo system.

### How long does it take to send push notifications in the demo system?

Push notifications are sent approximately within 1 minute. It may take longer if the system is under higher load.

### Is it sent periodically if push notifications are available or is it sent as soon as the domain is "registered"?

A push notification is always sent when an order is completed, e.g. when the domain is registered.

### Which order types trigger a push notification?

In general you can say that a poll message is generated when the response is a message with a "notify".

### When and how often is delivery to the "reply\_to" email address from the order?

Fallback to the reply\_to email address is after 24 hours.

### Is a push notification also sent to an https address?

Yes

### Are push notifications also sent to a redirect?

No. The RFC prohibits a redirection for a POST request

### Do we work in profile with FIX and RECURSE?

No, the values are always automatically set to "OPTIONAL" for the profile.

## Problems with push

### I clicked on "Email confirmation" in the job options and now there is no push message.

This is the intended behaviour. To receive push messages, disable the email confirmation.

### Despite successful connection test no push messages are received. What can I do?

Check if the web server makes an automatic redirection from http to https. If "yes" then store the https address in the user profile.

### There is no push message. What could be the reason?

A push notification is only sent if a time-controlled job exists or a process is triggered with a Notify (N).

## Questions about parent notifys

### To which email address are the parent notifications sent?

The parent notifications are sent to the email address stored in the user profile -> User tab -> Field: Default email address.
