# Messages Object

## Description

The messages object defines the notification contained in the system [response](/de/api/core-api-grundlagen-xml/). It is integrated in the result block of the response.  
There are different types of messages:

-   EFxxxxx= Error
-   MSGxxxxx= Note
-   S/E/Nxxxxx= Status of a subordinate order type

## Structure

| Keyword JSON | Occurs | Type | Format | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| code | 1 | string |  | The task code of the order to which the notification belongs. |
| text | 1 | string |  | Message text |
| object | 1 | object |  | The object to which the notification refers.<br>• type - specifies the type of the object<br>• value - value of the object |
| messages | 0 - 1 | object | messages | Subordinate notification |
| status | 1 | enum | [StatusType](/en/api/core-status-type-enum/) | The status type of the response. |
