# Order object

## Description

The _order_ object is responsible for sorting the search result.

## Structure

| Key JSON | Key XML | Occurs | Format | Typ | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| key | key | 0 - 1 | string |  | Keyword to be sorted by. |
| type | mode | 0 - 1 | enum | [OrderType](/en/api/core-order-type-enum/) | Sort order. |
