# Profile object

## Function

The _Profile_ object represents a user profile entry. In XML, the entries are grouped in a profile group <profile> and contained there as an element <item>.

## Structure

| flag |  | 1 | enum | [ProfileFlag](/en/api/core-profile-flag-enum/) | Defines to what extent the settings of a user are adopted by its subusers. |
| readonly |  | 0 - 1 | boolean |  | Flag whether the value is changeable by the current user.<br>Possible values:<br>• false = Not changeable<br>• true = Changeable<br>Default value = false<br>For XML, 0 (false) and 1 (true) can also be used. |
| inherited |  | 1 | boolean |  | Flag whether the value was inherited from a parent user. |
