# User status constants / user substatus constants

## Description

The user status is specified by two values: **status** and **substatus**. They define if or how many levels of subusers the user can create, with the substatus clone (3) being an exception (see below for description). A lower value means higher status/substatus.

## Status overview

| | 0: (+) | 1: (\*) | 2: Normal | 3: Clone |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 0: Master | 0/0 | 0/1 | 0/2 | 0/3 |
| 1: Admin | 1/0 | 1/1 | 1/2 | 1/3 |
| 2: Normal | 2/0 | 2/1 | 2/2 | 2/3 |

**Status**

- 0 = Master
- 1 = Admin
- 2  = Normal

**User Status**

- 0: Plus ( + ) = Highest status in the hierarchy. The user can create clones with the same status or lower status (=higher status number!).
- 1: Asterisk ( \* ) = The user can create clones and possibly subusers with lower status (=higher status number!).
- 2: Normal = The user can create subusers with lower status (=higher status number!) if necessary.
- 3: Clone = A clone cannot have any subusers, but can create some (under its parent). It basically works as its parent and has the same object rights, but its own ACLs (=user rights). A clone cannot have its own objects.

## Who may create (which) subusers?
