## Contact extensions

| Keyword | Occurs | Type | Format | Description |

| ie\_contact\_type | 1 | string |  | The contact type describes the contact's connection to Ireland, which makes it eligible for domain registration.<br>• COM = Company - for Irish companies with CRO number<br>• OTH = Other - if the owner is a person or an organization. |
| ie\_supporting\_number | 0 -1 | string |  | Irish owners<br>• Use Contact extension for .ie. For the keyword  _ie\_contact\_type_   (XML) or _ieContactType_ (JSON) use the value OTH. For the keyword _ie\_supporting\_number_ (XML ) or _ieSupportingNumber_ (JSON) use the Irish RBN.<br>Non-Irish owners:<br>• Use the generic Contact extension "trademark". See [General Contact Extensions.](/en/api/epp-general-contact-extensions/)<br>Alternative to the above two options:<br>• Do not include extensions and send the required evidence in paper form to the registry. |
