## Contact extensions

If certain contact data is not to be displayed in Whois, the UK types IND or FIND must be used and the value "B" must be set for <protection>. This is not possible for all subdomains.

| type | 0-1\*) | enum | [UkTypeConstants](/en/api/core-uk-type-constants/) | For the subdomains ltd.uk, net.uk and plc.uk the selection of a UK type is mandatory. For co.uk and me.uk the UKType is not mandatory. |
