## Eligibility & Restrictions

Registrant must be from EU/EEA/EFTA or neighbouring countries. From 2025: worldwide registration possible if justified activity demonstrated. Local admin contact requirement abolished 2025.

## Registration

Registry allows up to 10 years. We currently offer 1 year. IDN supported (Hungarian diacritical characters).

## Transfer Procedure

Transfer via AuthID (auth code) OR document-based transfer (Application-Form-2.rtf from domain.hu). 'Legacy domains' at some registrars cannot generate AuthID and require document-based transfer. DNS pre-check required (webregcheck tool). Minimum 2 nameservers with working MX record.

## Registrant Change

Change of owner free of charge. 14-day change period. Form-based process.

## Renewal & Deletion

Standard renewal.
