## Eligibility & Restrictions

Open to anyone. No local presence requirement since 1 February 2010. Administrative contact no longer needs to be Luxembourg-based.

## Registration

No minimum specified; tacit/automatic renewal. Maximum 10 years at some registrars.

## Transfer Procedure

Manual transfer process. No auth code used by this registry.

> No auth code for .LU transfer. This is frequently misunderstood. Transfer initiated entirely via email confirmation sent by RESTENA to admin contact.

## Registrant Change

Trade (owner change) also requires admin contact email approval. Same process as registrar transfer. Both new owner and current owner must confirm.

## Renewal & Deletion

Domains tacitly renewed. No action required to renew. Registrar must actively request removal before expiry if not renewing.

## Restore / Redemption Grace Period

30-day quarantine period after deletion/expiry. Only former owner can restore during quarantine. After 30 days, new registrant can register.

## WHOIS / Privacy

Hides all personal info except country of residence. Legal persons (companies): data public. IDN supported.
