Description

Specifies security settings for handling infected mails.

Possible values

  • HIGH = Infected emails are moved to a quarantine folder. The subject of spam emails is changed. +++SPAM" is added.
  • MEDIUM = Infected emails are packed, attached to another email and forwarded to the destination address. The subject of spam emails is changed. +++SPAM" is added.
  • LOW = Infected emails are packed, attached to another email and forwarded to the destination address.

  • CUSTOM = User-defined. With this setting you can define all values yourself.

    With the value "merge" for the optional keyword <key> the values of the keywords greylisting, virus, bannedfiles, header, spam, blacklist, whitelist, excludelist, if not specified in the request, are kept. Applies only to value CUSTOM.
  • OFF = Security settings are disabled.
Locked files are treated equally in the three predefined security levels high, medium and low. They are packed, attached to another email and forwarded to the destination address. If you select one of these security levels, other settings that may have been made will be ignored.
