Users and subusers can be created in AutoDNS.

User status and associated user privileges

Each user has a "status" (Master, Admin, Normal) and a "substatus" (+, *, normal, clone). The status defines whether or how many levels of subusers he can create. The "clone" substatus is an exception: A user with the substatus "clone" cannot have his own objects (domains, domain contacts, zones,...), but always works on the object stock of the "parent", its superior user. If a "clone" creates new objects, these belong to its "parent".

The table shows user rights, decreasing from the top left to the bottom right.
