Eligibility & Restrictions
Open to anyone worldwide. No local presence required. IDN supported (.한국 in Hangul). SLDs: .co.kr (commercial), .ne.kr (network), .or.kr (organisations), .re.kr (research), .pe.kr (individuals), .go.kr (government). Most SLDs open to foreign registrants.
Registration
Registry allows up to 10 years. We currently offer 1 year.
Transfer Procedure
Manual transfer process with auth code. Processing may take several days.
Contact data update required pre-transfer. This is the pattern driving support tickets. Always verify registrant contact data is current before initiating .KR transfer.

Known Error Codes & Notes
- Contact data pre-transfer: Contact data must be accurate before transfer. Outdated data = transfer failure. This is the primary support ticket driver.
- 2-day processing: Transfer processing takes ~2 days. Longer than real-time ccTLDs.
- IDN .한국: Korean Hangul IDN available.
